We look forward to seeing you on Monday, November 7th at 5PM PT when our featured speaker will be Dr. Devika Bhushan, California’s Acting Surgeon General and the Inaugural Chief Health Officer of the newly founded Office of the California Surgeon General. Dr. Bhushan’s recent Op-ed piece in the LA Times shared her personal journey of living with bipolar disorder that was first diagnosed when she was in her training at Harvard Medical School. She spoke out publicly in the LA Times to help dispel stigma and to help others struggling to know they're not alone and give them hope. Michael Gitlin, MD, Distinguished Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at UCLA and the Director of the Adult Division in the Department of Psychiatry will join Dr. Bhushan in conversation.
