Thank you for joining us for the screening of No One Cares About Crazy People, produced and directed by Gail Freedman. UCLA Friends of the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, NAMI Westside Los Angeles, and the Janis Black Warner Speaker’s Series were proud to co-host this meaningful and impactful program.

We are especially grateful to Janis Black Warner for her generous support and steadfast commitment to advancing conversations around mental health.

Our sincere thanks to our exceptional panelists — Gail Freedman; Bob Odenkirk; Teresa Pasquini; and Dr. Jonathan Sherin — for sharing their insight, expertise, and personal reflections. Their thoughtful discussion enriched the film experience and inspired important dialogue within our community.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to The Depressed Bakery and its founder, Valerie van Galder, for bringing the wonderful pop-up to UCLA so we could enjoy the delicious treats and for donating proceeds from the sales to The Friends and NAMI Westside LA.

We look forward to welcoming you to our future programs. Please visit our organization websites for a calendar of upcoming events and information about our work: UCLA Friends — www.friendsofsemelinstitute.org — and NAMI Westside Los Angeles — https://namiwla.org/

Thank you for being a part of our communities dedicated to mental health advocacy and education.
