As we wrap up another year, we reflect back on the series of Open Mind programs that we have sponsored as a free public service to the community. In 2024, we brought you 15 unique programs on topics such as stress, loneliness, sociopathy, college admissions stress, hate, addiction, ADHD, Aging, and kindness. We hope that you have found these programs interesting and inspiring.

 

Our new season begins on January 9th when our featured speaker will be Jonathan Rosen, author of The Best Minds, A Story of Friendship, Madness and the Tragedy of Good Intentions that The New York Times named a top 10 best book of the year and made Barack Obama's list of favorite books of 2023. Carrie Bearden, PhD, Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences, Psychology, and the Brain Research Institute at UCLA will join Mr. Rosen in conversation.
