Patti Davis, daughter of former President Ronald Reagan and Nancy Reagan, introduced UCLA’s new Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care Program. Ms. Davis also spoke about The Long Goodbye, her book about losing her father to this debilitating illness and the tremendous impact Alzheimer’s and dementia have on family members who are often at a loss to find appropriate care and services for their loved ones.
