Ragda Izar, MD, is a third-year resident physician at the UCLA NPI Psychiatry program. She currently serves as a Community and Global Psychiatry co-chief and the Psychiatry Asylum Clinic chief. Dr. Izar earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and her B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her clinical interests include child and adolescent psychiatry, Muslim and refugee mental health, and community psychiatry.
