Today’s generation is an anxious one – kids are growing up surrounded by social media pressures, school shootings, cultural and political polarization, the 24-hour news cycle, and more. RAISING CALM KIDS IN A WORLD OF WORRY, the new book from Maria Shriver’s The Open Field imprint, is here to help. Written by nationally recognized parent coaches and psychotherapists, Ashley Graber, LMFT and Maria Evans, LMFT, this practical guidebook equips parents of children ages 6-12 with concrete tools to ease their kids’ anxieties.

In RAISING CALM KIDS IN A WORLD OF WORRY, Graber and Evans who have been featured in the Washington Post, National Georgraphic, ThriveGlobal, Goop, MindBodyGreen, BuzzFeed, and more, draw from their decades of experience as licensed psychotherapists and parent coaches. Accessible, applicable, and full of compassion, RAISING CALM KIDS IN A WORLD OF WORRY is an essential text – filled with strategies and real-life examples of parents helping their children overcome anxiety and find calm.
