Montserrat Hildalgo is a current senior at South Gate High School, located in South East Los Angeles. She is an advocate for environmental justice and mental health. Her struggle with anxiety began in middle school after going through bullying and having panic attacks. She hopes to become an environmental field scientist and give back to her low income community of color.
