Johnathan McGee is 17 years old and a senior at Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies High School. He had been surrounded by family members and peers who have been affected by mental health, and it has been a very prominent part of his life to help those around him. He supports his community and their mental well-being by participating in the creation of the first-ever student-ed LAUSD Mental Health Symposium for over 300 students across LA. In college, he wants to pursue majors in neuroscience, ethnic studies, and public policy and understand the intersections between how our behavior influences and leads to the passing of laws that form how our society functions today and affects people of color across the United States.
